Ladakh (Union Territory)

Road Approach / Connectivity to Ladakh

Leh is a main town and largest district of Ladakh region among 2 districts as Leh and Kargil. There are two roads, which connect to Ladakh from Zoji-La Pass and Kargil route from Srinagar side of the Kashmir Valley. This route is open from April / May to till November / December. It remains blocked by snow in winter at Zoji-La Pass.

Manali To Leh Route

The other route is, high altitude (3,900 Meters Rohtang Pass) Manali-Leh Highway from Himachal Pradesh side. This route is open only from May to till November. The best part of this route that there is Rohtang pass tunnel 8.8 Km long has been opened for public from 2020.
