• Morning: After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Sham Valley, approximately 70km (3 hours round trip). This region is famed for its ancient monasteries and unique landscapes.

  • Alchi Monastery: Discover this 11th-century monastic complex, renowned for its exquisite Buddhist art and traditional Kashmiri-style murals.
  • Likir Monastery: Home to a magnificent 75-foot gold-plated Buddha statue, offering serene views.

• Late Afternoon: Return to Leh, with the remainder of the day at your leisure.

• Morning: Prepare for an exciting day as you check out from your Leh hotel and begin your drive towards the famous Nubra Valley.
• Khardung La Pass: Your journey takes you over Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft / 5,602m), famously known as one of the world's highest motorable roads. Stop for memorable photos amidst the majestic Himalayan peaks.
• Afternoon (Nubra Valley): Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, check into your camp/hotel.
  • Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, offering panoramic views of the valley and a towering Buddha statue.
  • Later, proceed to Hunder Sand Dunes, often called the "Desert in the Sky." Here, you can enjoy an optional yet highly recommended double-humped Bactrian camel ride (at your own cost) amidst the unique high-altitude desert landscape.
• Overnight Stay: Nubra Valley camp/hotel.

• Morning: Enjoy a tranquil morning in Nubra. After breakfast, if not visited on Day 3, we will visit the impressive Diskit Monastery one last time.
• Mid-Morning: Check out from your Nubra accommodation and begin your scenic drive back to Leh, once again traversing Khardung La Pass.
• Afternoon: Arrive back in Leh and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or last-minute souvenir shopping.

• Morning: After an early breakfast, check out from your Leh hotel as you embark on a breathtaking journey to Pangong Tso.
• Chang La Pass: Your route will take you over Chang La Pass (17,500ft / 5,360m), another majestic high-altitude pass, offering incredible vistas.
• Afternoon (Pangong Tso): Upon arrival, prepare to be mesmerized by the iconic Pangong Lake, renowned for its ever-changing shades of blue. Spend time soaking in the serene beauty, capturing stunning photographs, and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
• Evening: Check into your comfortable lakeside camp. Experience the unique charm of spending a night under a blanket of stars beside Pangong Tso.
• Overnight Stay: Pangong Lake camps.

• Morning: After a magical sunrise over Pangong Lake and breakfast, bid farewell to this natural wonder and begin your drive back to Leh.
• En Route Exploration: On your return journey, you'll have the opportunity to visit some of Ladakh's most revered sites:
  • Hemis Monastery: Explore Ladakh’s largest and wealthiest monastery, a significant center of Drukpa lineage.
  • Thiksey Monastery: Discover this stunning monastery, often described as a miniature Potala Palace due to its architectural resemblance.
  • Magnetic Hill: Experience the intriguing optical illusion where vehicles seemingly defy gravity and move uphill on their own.
